New Player Evaluation Nights

Mandatory New Player Evaluation Nights are held on the last two Wednesdays of September.
​
Only players who have registered and paid in full prior to the closing of registration will be allowed to play on the New Player Evaluation Nights. If you have not paid your fees and been evaluated, you will not be in the player draft and will not be in the league for the coming season.​

NEW PLAYER EVALUATION NIGHTS:

 

Competitive Division

Suited for players that have significant basketball experience at the competitive, rep team, or college/university level.

September 17 8:30pm @ Markham District High School 

September 24 7:00pm @ Bill Crothers Secondary School (Lower Gym)

​

Recreational Division

Suited for players that have some basketball experience at the High School or recreational level. 

 

September 17 8:30pm @ Bur Oak Secondary School 

September 24 7:00pm @ Bill Crothers Secondary School (Upper Gym)

 

Masters Division

50+ all experience levels accepted

September 17 7:00pm @ Markham District High School 

September 24 7:00pm @ Markham District High School 

Returning players are welcome to come out for a run on the evaluation evenings. The gyms are available for use until 10:00 PM. 

Regular season games start on the first Wednesday of October and finish in late March. There are 21 planned regular season games but school cancellations can reduce that number. Playoffs start on the last Wednesday of March and last for three weeks.

All games are played in one of three venues which will rotate from week to week:

Markham District High School 
Bur Oak Secondary School
Bill Crothers Secondary School ( upper and lower gyms)

Game start times vary, but usually begin at 7:00, 8:15 and 9:30.
